Education: Graduated from Ecole Sainte-Anne in 1996. Then spent 2.5 years at U.N.B. towards a Bachelor of Science degree. Graduated from the Nova Scotia Agricultural College in Truro with a Registered Veterinary Technologist Degree.
Family: Parents Reside in Fredericton as well as 2 Brothers. Sister lives in Dieppe NB with her husband and 3 children.
Pets: Jolie: CKCS her always happy, little ray of sunshine. Valor her Great Dane problem child but very special. Sparrow her rescued Border Collie who is always ready to go, willing to play and loves to snuggle. Stef also has 6 Zebra finches at home and fosters kittens in her home from various rescue groups.
Area’s of Interest: All dog sports including flyball, agility, disc, and herding. She also loves reading, going for walks with her dogs and hanging out with friends.
Name: Lisa Wall
Place of Birth: Edmonton, Alberta
Education: Graduated from Nackawic High School in 1996 then completed the Veterinary Assistant course at Compu College in 2004.
Family: All of her family lives here in Fredericton or just outside of city. Lisa lives with her husband and her little girl.
Pets: She is owned by 3 female cats; Celeste, Little Meep, and Dinah.
Area’s of Interest: Enjoys nature and reading. She also has strong interest in animal behavior and training. Lisa enjoys participating in K9 agility and volunteering with Car-ma Cat Rescue and spending time with her family and friends.
Name: Duncan McCulloch
Place of Birth: Fredericton N.B.
Education: Graduated from Fredericton High School in 2003. Then completed the Veterinary Administrative Assistant course in 2006. Completed his work term here at Douglas and has been here ever since.
Family: Parents Reside in Fredericton with family outside of Fredericton and in Nova Scotia. His family roots are Scottish and English.
Pets: Duncan is a proud owner of a black DSH cat named Lashes and a Orange cream tabby named Punkin (Both Adopted through our SPCA Satalite program), Ball Python, 2 african skinks, as well as a Malamute X named Toby and a eldery cat Frisky who reside at the family home.
Area’s of Interest: All animals big and small, domesticated and wild. He also enjoys Nature,Country and City life, music, movies, instruments, and spending time with family and loved ones.
Name: Courtney Gorman
Place of Birth: Fredericton N.B.
Education: Graduated from Leo Hayes High School in 2007 then completed the Veterinary Technician course at NSAC in 2009.
Family: Both parents; Dave and Elise live in Fredericton as well as her younger sister Jessica.
Pets: She has had pretty much everything with fur, feathers, and scales. Currently she owns her two beloved whiteface cockatiels (Meka and Max), her strong headed but very handsome Amazon parrot (Quincey), her stubborn but oh so cute Quaker parrot (Zuri), and last but not least her ball python (Maverick).
Area’s of Interest: All animals of course but in particular a love of birds and exotics. Camping, canoeing and outdoor activities in the summer. She also is interested in reading, writing, drawing, and attempts to be creative.
Name: Gloria Minifie
Place of Birth: Born in Saskatoon and has lived in various cities and provinces in western Canada before moving to the east coast in 1995.
Family Pets: Gloria now lives in the country with her husband and large animal family. Her family consists of four dogs; two of which were rescues. (Tazmyn, Tilly, Shep, and Spook) and 6 house cats and 2 barn cats and a quarter horse mare (Holly), draft/quarter horse gelding (Ranger) and a miniature stallion (Tonka).
Area’s of Interest: She is heavily involved in the Parelli method of natural horsemanship and has used these practices to help Spook, her physically and mentally abused sheltie, to become a happy member of the family. What little spare time she has is taken up with reading (usually in the barn), and cross-stitchin (when not in the barn).
Gloria started part-time employment as a receptionist with our clinic in 2001 and became the office manager on a full time basis in October 2005.
