Meet the friendly staff at Douglas Animal Hospital!
Courtney was born in Fredericton and has lived here her entire life. She received her diploma in Veterinary Technology from the Nova Scotia Agricultural College in 2009, and went on to write the National Exam to become a registered veterinary technician that same year.
She lives in the country with her rescue dog Zinc (a pitbull mix) and a kitten named Kittin. Courtney has a special passion for exotics and wildlife so her 'family' also consists of a ball python and her flock of bird babies including an Amazon parrot, cockatiels, budgies and a canary. Her life revolves around her animals and the outdoors, and you can always find her hiking, snowshoeing, or exploring with her dogs. Any free time is usually spent fostering for the SPCA and volunteering for CARMA spay/neuter clinics. Reading, camping and drawing are also somehow squeezed into her busy life.
