What to Expect

VETERINARY SERVICE WITH COURTESY & RESPECT!

As a new client of Douglas Animal Hospital you can expect professional, courteous attention to your pets’ needs.

When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted by our friendly and knowledgeable staff while your pet is weighed and enjoys a treat or two! The veterinarian will see you next, thoroughly examine your pet, provide clear explanations for any questions you may have and work with you to plan further diagnostics or treatment as necessary. Our receptionist will be happy to handle billing and schedule any needed follow up appointments.

Our goal is always to see all of our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there may be times when the unexpected will create delays. We will ensure these are minimized as much as possible. We appreciate your patience in instances when another pet may require unexpected emergency care.

We are excited to meet you and your human and animal family members! If you have any questions or requests that would make a visit to our hospital more comfortable for you or your pets, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Our Hospital Policies

Appointments

Appointments can be scheduled online or by calling the clinic. Our team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability. It is always best to call rather than schedule online if you have a sick pet in need of urgent care.

Payments

For your convenience, we accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and cash.

In order to focus on the needs of our patients, customer service and to minimize costs we require payment when services are rendered.

When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well. We understand this and are able to make arrangements for a customizable payment plan that will fit your needs through our Paybright financing program.

We will provide an estimated treatment plan for all surgeries and hospitalizations. If you have not received an estimate, you are welcome to request one at any time.
