Julie was born and raised in Fredericton, where her lifelong love of animals first began. She started her career working with the SPCA, gaining hands-on experience in animal care and rescue. Driven to deepen her knowledge and skills, she went on to complete veterinary assistant training, turning her passion into a profession.

Over the years, Julie has worked in animal hospitals across the country, building a diverse range of experience and forming meaningful connections along the way. Among them all, Douglas Animal Hospital holds a special place as her favorite, where her dedication and compassion truly shine.

Outside of work , Julie enjoys riding horses, spending evenings around bonfires with friends and embracing the beauty of the outdoors whenever she can.
