Laurie combines leadership, compassion, and a genuine love for animals in her role as Veterinary Hospital Manager at DAH. She believes exceptional veterinary care begins with a supportive team and a welcoming environment for both pets and their people.

Raised in Burtt’s Corner, where she still lives with her two children MiKayla and Ethan, her dog Tully, and her cats Nugget and Willow, Laurie joined the DAH team in March 2008. Starting part-time and later moving to full-time, she worked her way up from being the friendly voice on the phone to becoming Hospital Manager in October 2025.

Laurie embraces the variety her role brings and is passionate about creating a positive experience for clients while fostering a collaborative workplace for her team. Outside of work, she fosters for the local SPCA and supports the PAL (Prevent Another Litter) program. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, crafting, and spending time outdoors during the summer.
