Registered Veterinary Technician
Courtney
Courtney was born and raised in Fredericton. She earned her degree in Veterinary Technology from the Nova Scotia Agricultural College and wrote the National Exam to become a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2009. She has worked at Douglas Animal Hospital ever since.
She enjoys living in the country with her husband Tommy and her rambunctious son Owen. Her pets include her spoiled bulldog Beanie, her boxer Rhia, a cat named Kittin, a conure named Bobby, her flock of cockatiels, and her horse Remi. Courtney is an outdoor enthusiast, and you can always find her camping, hiking, snowshoeing, or exploring with her dogs and even her bird in tow!
Her love of the outdoors goes hand in hand with her love of exotic/wildlife medicine. She is certified in wildlife rehabilitation and works closely with the Atlantic Wildlife Institute with orphaned or injured animals. In her limited free time, Courtney also loves reading, sketching, and liberty horsemanship.
