Dr. Sam is very excited to be joining the DAH team. She graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College and practiced in the Simcoe County region for a couple of years before making the recent jump to Fredericton.

She brought along her sheepdog Reggie, rescue kitty Kinder (egg), and her partner! Dr. Sam’s favourite part of being a vet is the fact that there is always more to learn! The knowledge and understanding of veterinary medicine is always changing and there are always ways to improve and innovate.

Sam particularly enjoys preventative and internal medicine, fear-free approaches to care, and diagnostic imaging.

In her spare time, you can find her hiking outdoors, playing games with family and friends, or listening to audiobooks.
